Who is Ela
We could write a great deal about Ela, her life and her inspiration, but it is far nicer, more exciting and more authentic when Ela tells us her story herself.
Ela: “I have always been full of enthusiasm and passion for the beautiful things and surprises that life has in store for us. I laid the foundations for my work today in Iran, more precisely in Mashhad. There, in 2014, I studied graphic and industrial design and strengthened my passion for shapes, colours and textures, placing it within a “solid” framework. By the way, I am originally Iranian and was born there too… my heart beats to an oriental rhythm.
Over the past few years, I have continued to develop and strengthen my passion for design in general and interior design in particular, and in doing so I have developed a deep instinct for creating a homely atmosphere.
The major turning point in my life came during my master’s degree in Iran. And how could it be otherwise – I met my husband Amin there.
A very special person who has shaped my journey ever since and still does so every single day. My journey became our journey, and that is something I am grateful for anew each day.
In 2015, I moved to Germany, a new chapter in my life began, and I specialised, among other things, in rug design for hand-knotted rugs.”
