Who is Ela

We can write a lot about Ela, her life, and her inspiration, but it is much more beautiful, exciting, and authentic when Ela tells us her story herself. Ela: "I have always been full of enthusiasm and passion for the beautiful things and surprises that life has in store for us. The foundation for my current work was laid in Iran, more specifically in Mashad. There, I studied graphic and industrial design in 2014, solidifying my passion for shapes, colors, and textures and embedding it in a 'solid' framework. By the way, I am originally Iranian and was born there... my heart beats with an oriental rhythm. My passion for design in general, and particularly for interior architecture, has grown and deepened in recent years, allowing me to develop a profound sensitivity for creating a homely atmosphere. A significant turning point in my life came during my master’s program in Iran. And as fate would have it, I met my husband Amin. He is a very special person who has shaped my journey and continues to do so every day. My journey became our journey, and I am grateful for that every single day. In 2015, I moved to Germany, marking the beginning of a new chapter in my life, and I specialized, among other things, in carpet design for hand-knotted carpets.

Inspired by…..

She: "When designing in general, I mainly let myself be guided by the moment in the present. The atmosphere has to inspire me or, let's say, evoke a feeling within me. I then draw inspiration from the colors, patterns, and textures of nature, which are virtually endless and influence my creativity through their flowing, curved forms. For the Berber collection, I wanted to focus on organic shapes. These shapes evoke an emotional response in the viewer, reflected in feelings such as calmness, serenity, and security. It was important to me that nature is at the forefront, both consciously and unconsciously. This atmosphere creates a relaxed living situation within spaces, primarily triggering a warm sense of well-being. While designing the collection, I remembered my grandmother and my fascination with her work. She is a fantastic oil painter. Her works can be seen all over her house. I still have all her artworks in my mind today. She obviously left a strong impression on me. I remember the time when I was about 6 years old, and I often watched her at work, mixing colors and painting. Her presence and artistic creation inspired me and accompanied me to some extent while designing the Berber collection.
