Vintage is a popular trend. In the beautiful new world of ever faster consumption, tradition and antique sustainability is an orientation in aesthetics that gives peace and familiarity. Goods with a genuine handicraft tradition delight us, which still function and are beautiful even after decades. They only exist in limited numbers and last for decades. Especially the patina or traces of use give these products character and breathe life into them, which inexpensiv industrial goods can only imitate.

Vintage rugs are the order of the day

In many living rooms you will find beautiful rugs that were made many decades ago. They reflect the tradition of craftsmanship that has existed for centuries in many regions - especially in the Middle East. Although they have been used for many years, these vintage rugs shine with a great look. Modern industrial rugs, on the other hand, will lose their shine, shape and consistency within a few years. Their synthetic fibres and colours cannot withstand direct sunlight and fade before you know it. The environment is also grateful when high-quality rugs with a long lifespan and made of natural materials decorate rooms instead of having to be thrown away after a few years.
